320 Campus Lane, Unit A, Fairfield, CA 94534
Scenario:
Client construction company had outgrown their flex 2-unit space in Martinez and needed to upgrade both their warehouse space and their office space. It was the middle of the pandemic with Flex space and warehouse space inventory was in short supply. They needed a larger and better quality space as their business continued to expand. Client had about 9 months before their current lease expired, and they realized that they could not leave the process of finding a new space until any later.
Actions:
With clear criteria provided by the Client along with their budget we screened all available spaces within their target area, while monitoring for new arrivals too. After several tours that did not quite meet the Client's approval, we kept screening. Within a few months we found an ideal new space and got our Client a tour - they loved it. We negotiated the lease with the landlord's representative, including price, terms and conditions, and the time frame.
Results:
The Client moved in and found the space to be far superior to their previous locations. Their office employees much preferred the space and their field production crews found the new warehouse to be ideally configurable for them.
Update:
The Client company doubled in size in the next six months and they outgrew the office space portion. The hunt then started for additional office space within the same industrial park.
